- I have spent the last 3 1/2 years of my life at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky. The only thing that stands between me and a degree in Elementary Education is a semester of student teaching. So, for the next 3 months I will be student teaching in Geelong, Australia. While I will certainly miss scraping my windshield during the cold winter mornings in Kentucky, I hope that, somehow, going to the warm sandy beaches of Australia after school will fill this void. Yes, that's right....it's summer in Australia!
